Indications
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL HEMORRHOIDS: - used for prophylaxis between attacks to prevent recurrence and treatment during attacks to prevent hemorrhoidal complication - anal pruritis , perianal eczema , proctitis and fissure. - pre and postoperative treatment of hemorrhoidectomy patients. - postpartum hemorrhoidal conditions .
Warning & Precautions
Following symptomatic relief, definite diagnosis should be established. As with all products containing topical steroids, the possibility of systemic absorption should be borne in mind . prolonged or excessive use may produce systemic corticosteroid effects.

Adverse Reactions
Rarely sensitivity reactions , patients may occasionally experience transient burning on application , especially if the andoderm is not intact.
Contra Indications
Tubercular , fungal and most viral lesions including herpes simplex , vaccinia and varicella . history of sensitivity to any of the constituents .
Drug Interactions
This medicine is not known to significantly affect other medicines. However, the manufacturer states that if you are taking medicines to treat an irregular heartbeat (antiarrhythmic medicines) this medicine should be used with caution. This is because if sufficient lidocaine is absorbed into the bloodstream from the ointment it could have side effects that are additive with these types of medicines. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for further advice. With large doses of lignocaine, consideration should be given to the risk of additional systemic toxicity in patients receiving other local anaesthetics or agents structurally related to local anaesthetics.
