Indications
Parkinsonian syndromes,Muscular rigidity and Extrapyramidal symptoms.
Warning & Precautions
Abrupt discontinuation of the drug is to be avoided due to the risk of excessive counter regulation.Akineton may lead to an increased tendency to cerebral seizure.

Dosage
Parkinsonian syndrome: 1- Initial dose: (2X½ tablet) daily increased by 1 tablet per day. 2- Maintenance dose: ½ - 2 tablets 3-4 times a day. 3- Children aged 3-15 years [½ - 1 ] tablet 1-3 times daily.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity may occur in elderly patients with cerebral lesions or a vascular of degenerative nature.
Contra Indications
Patients with Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient, untreated narrow-angle glaucoma, mechanical stenoses in the Gl tract.
Drug Interactions
The administrtion of Akineton with Psychotropic drugs,antihistamines,antiparkinsonian drugs and antispasmodics may aggravate the CNS and peripheral side effects quinidine may enhance the anticholinergic cardiovascular effects.
