Indications
For the additional treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus
Warning & Precautions
Hypoglycemia occurs while taking ACAROSE in combination with another anti-diabetic agent. should be treated with oral glucose Should not be administered during pregnancy and breast feeding.

Dosage
One tablet before meal once daily increased after 4-5 weeks to one tablet 3 times daily. The dosage of ACAROSE should be adjusted at 4-5 weeks intervals.

Contra Indications
Hypersensitivity to Acarbose, Patients under 12 years of age, Patients with inflammatory bowel disease, Patients with hepatic impairment or cirrhosis. Pregnancy and / or breast-feeding.
Drug Interactions
May interfere with digoxin absorption. Intestinal absorbents reduce the effects of ACAROSE. ACAROSE may enhance the effect of other antidiabetics.
